In my move to Palo Alto, I had the opportunity to clear out nearly 15 years of stuff, including the many notebooks that journal my business and life activities. These notebooks are being packed into a box and loaded into storage.
If ever there was a logical time to start a blog, it would be when you are staring at the paper equivalent being packed away. With no search, no index, and no categorization, these paper memories will need to be manually reviewed, which is unlikely to happen.
So, welcome to my blog. Technically, this is not my first blog, and it will unlikely be my last. Enjoy!
Adeo - Congrats on the move to Palo Alto. Hope it isn’t too insane down there for raising up a family. Is there a more direct way to get in touch with you regarding some thoughts and ideas?
Regards
Robert in Seattle
Congratulations on your move. I’m planning on moving out that way soon too.
There is a very different & positive outlook there, in my native California, that I’ve missed working while working worldwide (most recently in Arizona).
The key to blogs is regular contribution. Journals were easier to write in because you could always carry it, or stuff it in a travel bag. I hope you’re learning to blog from a laptop or PIM. Palm or PocketPC’s are your friend!
