    Nice clip, but was I the only one who complained when oil prices had already doubled BEFORE 9-11-01 with an oil-baron in charge?

    The new high price of oil is not our only problem now; the Fed has also been using up strategic oil reserves.

    Like moving away from the gold-standard, our energy like our money no longer has guaranteed value. This economic ‘house’ is standing on a foundation of sand.

    We are not beyond rescue, but the path will be long, and the costs to recoup our economic strength high.
