The City of the Future project needs a name and a domain name. Development of the technology is now underway, and has been for some time. The name, however, remains illusive.
The goal of the project is to have everyone on the planet who is able to contribute at least one meaningful idea on how we may build a better future.
A name that transcends language with a call to action would be perfect, though this is almost an oxymoron. Currently, there are two domains that are not perfect: utopiant.com and youreco.com.
Ideas, anyone? 
“Arcology” is taken… “Riverhouse” has been taken, but it’s close and has a nice folksy sound…
More on this subject later.
If action words are called for, then try a combination of action verbs & homey words.
Examples: “Rolling-brook”, “Washing-ton”
To choose good dynamic words, think of the actions you wish to take, then where you choose to make that stand.
I will come back with some better examples after time for reflection.
The perfect new names for CotF remain just beyond the proverbial ‘tip of my tongue’.
The success of the ‘LiveStrong’ saga of Lance Armstrong tickles my cognative facilities.
Maybe the name is waiting for a specific place. That would be true expecially if we’re to merge positive Action with our ideal Location.
Somewhere out there we all know what CotF should be named. Don’t worry; it will come to you, or me, or we’ll all come to the same conclusions soon.

A ‘polis’ (πόλις, pronunciation pol’-is) plural: poleis (πόλεις) is a city, a city-state and also citizenship and body of citizens. When used to describe classical Athens and its contemporaries, polis is often translated as “city-state.”
The word originates from the ancient Greek city-states, which developed during the Archaic period, the ancestor of city, state and citizenship, and persisted (though with decreasing influence) well into Roman times, when the equivalent Latin word was civitas, also meaning ‘citizenhood’, while municipium applied to a non-sovereign local entity. Ecopolis: Sounds mildly pornographic.
Arcopolis: Same argument against.
We need something with a good foundation, but doesn’t leave conceptualization in the basement, but rather seeking the stars and the future.
Utopian ideals carry heavy Karma, so be wary of words beyond both reach and grasp.
