Why not just sell a simple 2, 3, or 4KW photovoltaic system with each car? Installed it should run less than %10 of the cost of the car, and be another attention-getter for the status seeker, or a VERY WISE investment for the ecology &amp; economy concerned consumer.

Start that as a side business; American made &amp; manufactured Solar thermal or PV alternative energy. It would also have the addedd benefit of paying for itself within the average duration of a car-loan, yet will provide FREE ENERGY for another 20-30 years!

The financing structure for the cars is already in place, just add this option as a feature, and see how many takers you get.

While I&#039;m sure Tesla is working hard to meet current quotas, if you want real volume then start building pickup trucks &amp; mini-vans.</description>
